Terms of Service

1. The Service

The Service presents public energy-market data, such as inventories, flows, prices and port activity, together with written summaries of that data. It describes past and current conditions. It does not forecast prices or recommend any action.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing on the Service is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, commodity or contract. You are solely responsible for your decisions. Trading commodities and derivatives carries substantial risk of loss.

3. Accounts

You must give a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person; sharing logins is not permitted. You must be at least 18 years old.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown at checkout, through our payment processor.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Account; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

5. Data, accuracy and availability

Data comes from third-party public sources, including the U.S. Energy Information Administration, FRED, IMF PortWatch, the National Weather Service and National Hurricane Center, and NYMEX and ICE futures quotes via Yahoo Finance. Sources publish with delays and revise past values. We show release dates and revision notes but do not guarantee that any figure is accurate, complete or current, or that the Service will be available without interruption. Third-party data remains subject to its owners' terms.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Service and its exports for your own work. You may not resell, republish in bulk or redistribute Pro content or CSV exports; scrape or automate access beyond normal use; attempt to bypass access controls; or interfere with the Service. You may quote individual figures and headlines with attribution.

7. Intellectual property

The Service's design, text, briefs and software are ours or our licensors'. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. Sections 2, 5, 7, 9 and 10 survive termination.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for trading or investment losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes are subject to the courts of the State of Delaware, unless the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.
